马尔代夫和中国有着良好的友谊，在互相尊重和互相理解的基础上，2015年两国关系上升到了新的高度。这一坚定的友谊将在2016年继续加深。我希望两国人民能够增进交流，加深对彼此国家文化和生活方式的了解，建立中国和马尔代夫人民的持久纽带关系。

Maldives and China relations have reached new heights in 2015, built on a very solid foundation of friendship, mutual respect and understanding.
