The number of visitors this year has reached 379 000. Because of the weather and the timing of the carnival, this figure was 35% less than expected. The artists, companies and embassies taking part at the carnival were from Greece, the Netherland, Algeria, Hungary, Chile, Peru, Russia, the UK and Spain, altogether 9 countries.<br \/>\nThe Beijing Chaoyang International Spring Carnival is organized by Beijing Chaoyang International Association of Chaoyang District. With the exception of 2004 (because of the SARS epidemic), and 2014 (because of disputes over ticket sales), it has been organized in every year since 2002.
