On May 14th, 2013, the German Embassy in Beijing invited 120 Chinese university students and weibo fans of the embassy\u2019s microblogs.<\/p>\n

A short and general introduction of the embassy\u2019s work was followed by a musical performance. The visitors then had the c\u0003hance to take part in discussion groups and workshops led by the Political, Economic, Media, Cultural and Consular sections, during which they got an insight into the embassy\u2019s working environment, including visa applications, press releases and bilateral negotiations.<\/p>\n

The visitors finally had a get tog\u0003ether w\u0003\u0003ith the embassy\u2019s staff for some traditional German food and a lucky draw.<\/p>\n
