绿色增长使命
EU ”Mission for Green Growth” Press Conference
7月19日正在中国访问的欧盟委员会副主席兼企业和工业事务委员安东尼奥•塔亚尼以及欧盟环境 事务委员亚内兹•波托奇尼克在欧盟驻华代表团召开记者会.
图二： 塔亚尼在与国务院副总理马凯、科技部部长万钢以及工业与信息化部部长苗圩等官员会谈时都谈到 欧洲的“绿色增长”。他表示，欧盟和中国都把“可持续的增长”放在重要位置。欧中都致力于在保持 和改善各自环境的同时获得可持续发展。他说，“中国新一届领导人非常重视环境保护。而欧洲在 这方面有丰富的经验，我们很愿意同中国一起分享。”
图三：波托奇尼克此次访华与中国环境保护部部长周生贤举行了欧中第五次部长级环保事务会谈。 他表示，双方就绿色经济、污染物控制、国际合作以及汽车尾气排放等问题进行讨论。全球市场对 于绿色食品和绿色服务的年需求量目前预计达到1万亿欧元，而这一数字将在2020年翻倍。可见， 欧中在治污、环保以及节能减排等领域合作空间广大。

A Joint Press Conference of European Commission Vice President Antonio Tajani responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship and European Commissioner for Environment Policy Janez Potocnik was held on 19 July 2013 in Beijing.
Tajani (picture 2), having some 60 entrepreneurs in his delegation, emphasized that the new Chinese Government is dedicated to take concrete steps in environmental protection and that it could form the basis for further cooperation with China. During his visit he has signed 4 agreements concerning industry, tourism, standardization and safety of industrial products. He sees tourism as an important tool for promoting mutual understanding and getting the European economy back on track. He would like to see as many Chinese tourists as possible in his homeland, at the Milan Expo 2015.
Potocnik (picture 3) made the point that growth and environmental protection can go hand in hand, they are not contradictory. He took Europe as an example as the European economy has shown considerable economic growth during the last few decades without hurting the environment. Any government overlooking the strong relation between environmental pollution and health problems are going to pay a high price not only in terms of hospital bills but also in degrading human potential and as a consequence, negative economic growth. The EU-China Summit to be organized in November will set Green Growth in the focus.
